The artist created the painting "I Have Things to Say" (Söyleneceklerim Var) inspired by Virginia Woolf's A Room of One's Own. Drawing on Woolf's assertion that "every woman must have a space of her own to exist," ggNash presents the small room she created in the painting as a reflection of her own childhood.
In this canvas, she depicts a scene of playing house with toys in rooms where she never felt she belonged and was never allowed to create. She explores how the fundamental need for a child to play can become an oppressive experience. The painting questions how a child’s magical and colorful imagination can be seen as wrong or dangerous, asking: Who sets the boundaries of this world?
"You believed that for me to exist, it was enough just to breathe, and you wanted me to become a proper man. You rejected and obstructed anything I did outside your sense of what was right. While you lived by your truths, I existed secretly. I took my dolls and played in stairwells. You couldn’t stop me! I didn’t become the man you wanted, and I never will!"
The artist also has 15-minute Instagram live sessions under the same title, during which she creates paintings while speaking. These broadcasts offer viewers a glimpse into the painting’s development and share the connection between her and her work. By the end of the day, the activity that was once forbidden and done in secret during her childhood is now public and celebrated.

Sanatçının aynı isimde 15 dakikalık, söylenirken resim yaptığı instagram yayınları mevcut. Resmin gelişim
aşamasını seyirciye sunuyor ve resimle aralarında kurduğu bağı paylaşıyor. Günün sonunda küçükken
yasaklanan, gizlenerek yaptığı bu aktiviteyi kamusallaştırıyor.
